getting above error when trying edit owner of newly created folder on data drive (not on c drive).

was working fine last week. changes i've made doing windows updates past year or (it way out of date).

windows server 2008

1. bit tedious working analysis based on use of process monitor sysiinternals. pinpoint critical spot.

2. research based on id of updates may , complement method no.1.
