seeing lots of lockouts coming thru email from public ip addresses, logon type 8.

pso = after 10 failed attempts within 30 minutes account lockout 30 minutes

i'm assuming trying hack else's account via webmail, possible?

yes, when user logs on iis using iis’s basic authentication mode possible cause.

using jiji identitymanager can generate audit reports on iis logon failures , mobile logon failuers.
