Activating Windows Server 2012 R2 trial

hi all,

i've been asked purchase windows server 2012 r2 standard client has been running trial version last 2 weeks. bought new lenovo x3500 server when started trial. versions can use convert trial? if possible, buy lenovo oem version cheapest, followed generic oem, followed open licensing expensive.

please point me in right direction? also, trial version installed datacentre, understand can changed when software activated.
