Windows Server Type

dear expert,

i have questions related windows server.

i saw internet tutorial windows server.

i saw that, there 4 type of windows servers as:

1-windows server 2012 standard core

2-windows server 2012

3-windows server 2012 data center core

4-windows server 2012 data center

could 1 please explain me differently among them?

if administrator, version should go for?

please give me clear detail of each.

beside windows server above, microsoft have windows server?

server manager error: ADAM.events.xml could not be enumerated.

i have domain server windows 2000 sp4. my clients using win xp , win 98. when send messages computer management-shared folders-rightclick-all task-send message connected users, message received clients using winxp but not in  win 98 .how send them without winpopup  , net meeting. this forum windows server 2008.   check messenger service running on win98-clients.
