hi all, we're experiencing huge problem replication of ad. let's start beginning, , i'll explain can: 1. week ago, in 1 of our dc's @ remote site, happened domain dns ad integrated zone. zone dissappeared, , in event viewer, following message logged "the dns server received indication zone mydomain.net deleted the  active directory.  since zone active directory integrated zone, it  has been deleted dns server" we're investigating why happened, suspect deleted zone or changed primary, causing deletion. anyway, let's continue explanation of current problem. 2. when noticed deletion of zone (because replication arrived our main site), connected 1 dc still didn't replicate deletion, , exported records txt file. later, replication arrived dc , zone deleted. 3. @ our main site, created again zone, naming before. imported records  (a, ns, etc...) txt file usin dnscmd. seemed work, thought problem fixed. 4. 2 days ago, realise

hi people, horrible day, no domain available. situation: dc1 (windows 2003, fsmo roles): empty sysvol , domain folders (the folder structure generated, empty). no shared folders (sysvol, netlogon). errors 13561 , 13560 in event viewer. tried enable journal wrap automatic restore 0 1 . , restart ntfrs service (and wait), no events of ok (no 13553, 13560, 13554, 13516). dc2(windows 2003): sysvol folder ok, domain structure folders , files, no shared folder. restarted netlogon service. errors 13508 , 13565. from sites , services of active directory, can see both servers, dc2 empty (no ntds settings icon), , of course in dc1 no replication ntds settings. if try create manually, displayed dc1 choose it. from users , computers can see both domain controllers. no 1 users can log on domain (domain not exists or not available). any suggest do...? thanks in advanced   im trying it. it go faster. saw article: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/315457/en rebuild sysvol tre

hello, i'm installing our network printers under failover cluster. i've got problems export of  printers file after playing around non microsoft drivers , 32-bits ones (our servers 64-bits) ... i've started scratch, reinstalled cluster nodes using windows server 2008 enterprise 64 bits. then, i've added cluster printer drivers included in windows server: hp business inkjet 2230/2280 (3 printers) hp laserjet 4050 series pcl 5 (2 printers) hp laserjet 4250 pcl 5 (8 printers) hp laserjet 4000 series pcl 5 (2 printers) hp laserjet 2200 series pcl 5 (3 printers) epson al-c4200 (5 printers) after initial installation, can use wizard exporting printers, drivers, ports , monitors file without problems. creates 86.8mb .printerexport file. then, need install 3 more printers: 2 epson al-cx21nf , 1 epson stylus photo 1400. i've started al-cx21nf. there aren't specific windows server 2008 drivers i've downloaded vista 64-bits version 2.0c epson page: ftp://download.epso
