Error when using PowerShell to create a New Mailbox.

hi,

 

i learning powershell , wish write script create new mailbox. command enter -

"new-mailbox -alias mikem -database "mailbox database" -name mikemanning -organizationalunit cn=users,dc=litwareinc,dc=com -firstname mike -lastname manning -displayname "mike manning" -userprincipalname mikem@litwareinc.com"

 

 

the error -

there multiple organizational units matching identity "users". please specify unique value.
at line:1 char:1 + n <<<< ew-mailbox -alias mikem -database "mailbox database" -name mikemanning -organizationalunit users -firstname mike -lastname manning -displayname "mike manning" -userprincipalname mikem@litwareinc.com

 

can me in figuring out unique value should be?

try making new mailbox in ou has unique name. (just see syntax works).

 

then enclose ou's dn in "" "ou=users,dc=domain,dc=com"

i have domain server windows 2000 sp4. my clients using win xp , win 98. when send messages computer management-shared folders-rightclick-all task-send message connected users, message received clients using winxp but not in  win 98 .how send them without winpopup  , net meeting. this forum windows server 2008.   check messenger service running on win98-clients.
