buenas, acabo de instalar un servidor 2003 con ad, dhcp y dns. el servidor dns esta fallando algo, las pc cliente, tienen configurado un mail pop, y no resuelven el nombre del servidor. si pongo las ip de dichos servidores, anda bien. por otro lado tambien anda cuando de servidor de dns utilizo el de mi provedor o cualquiera gratuito como el 8.8.8.8 de google. pero cuando pongo el mio andan muchas paginas, pero algunas otras no resuelven, como es el caso de estos servidores de mail. por favor necesito ayuda. o me van matarrr mira, si tu dominio de active directory es igual tu dominio externo no te lo va resolver, ya que las maquinas van buscar tu zona dns interna midominio.com que no tiene los registros dns que apuntan los servidores pop y smtp.  lo que tendrias que hacer para solucionar esto es crear en la zona un registro que apunte las ip de los servidores pop y smtp que resuelve por ejemplo los dns de google. esta practica no es recomendada porque por ejemplo si cam

hello i'm trying troubleshoot revocation checking issue involving third party crl.  i don't understand enough how imported third party crl supposed work i'm not able troubleshoot efficiently. there's 1 ca (windows 2003 single tier enterprise ca) i've imported third party crls to intermediate certificate authorities' local computer (physical store) show under intermediate certificate authorities' certificate revocation lists when viewed using certificate services mmc.  of course imported third party's root ca cert (trusted root) and issuing ca cert (ntauth) to our ca. - after having imported third party crls, published ad domain's cdp when clients (smartcard logon) need check third party crl i've imported, can or need manually publish them to the cdp? i noticed when checking domain's crl, its' 1 file named caname.crl , revocation list tab doesn't seem contain third party crls i've imported recent dates show july i've imported c
