Remote Desktop Services - Server 2008 (Microsoft Office Install)


i working server 2008 r2 standard running remote desktop services (terminal server). microsoft office 2010 (64 bit) installed , being used remotely on domain (100 users). did not setup or configure server not sure involved in configuring users ms office.   have install microsoft office 2010 (32 bit) instead of (64-bit version) because of compatibility problems 64-bit version.  know what correct way this, uninstall of 64-bit version of office , reinstall of 32-bit version, have save any configurations first? and also impact (if any) have user configuration settings (especially outlook).  changes need made after installing 32-bit office concerned with.   have searched other forums , didn't feedback , have no way of testing on server before doing want impact users little possible. feedback.

your plan seems ok. need office 2010 installation source terminal services, different ordinairy versions. first start of creating installation ms office 2010 x86. want start using ms office installation customization wizard. tool able adapt office installation company needs , able pre-configure outlook settings. remove office 2010 x64 installation, preferably on test system, , install office x86 version customization created. test basic functionality of office suite applications.

from user perspective there should not configuration issues files , settings stored in profiles of end-users.
