Forest Trust across TMG Gateway

hi all,

i have followed article: how configure firewall domains , trusts (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/179442) , opened ports. issue having on forest b, cannot establish trust , getting error: active directory domain services: name suffix conflicts name suffic in remote forest. click refersh button , try edit name suffix again. please assist on how can fix this?

this issue arises when 2 windows server 2003 forests linked forest trust, there possibility unique name suffixes existing in 1 forest might collide unique name suffixes located in second forest. collision detection guarantees each name suffix routed single forest.

active directory domains , trusts detect name suffix conflict when:

the same domain name system (dns) name in use.

the same netbios name in use.

a domain security id (sid) conflicts name suffix sid.

 

you can try change routing status of name suffix
