KMS Server Failed to Start

hi all.

i have 2008 r2 server has been active kms server couple of years now.  activates workstations , office.  noticed licensing problems new builds , traced kms server service not running.  event log shows event id 12291  key management service (kms) failed start.  i've tried rebooting, restarting software protection service , event not show until try using slmgr.vbs view status.  can't find me troubleshoot.  no changes on server.  thing noticed problem pulling updates our wsus server including .net 4 updates.  updated windows update, didn't either.  thought on next?

ok, think resolved own problem.  we did install websense web filter on server single server setup.  there must conflict product , kms server, maybe port or perhaps shared .dll, not sure.  once stopped websense services kms server did not error out , able see status.

i guess websense doesn't play others.
