VBScript runs slowly on 2008?

i've recently rebuilt dev machines 2008. i'm experiencing problems some vbscripts i've written running slowly. scripts in question make heavy use of adsi; other scripts i've got don't  seem run fine. has run across issue or a solution? i've spent morning on google no avail. i'm seeing no error messages, or odd behavior other apps. if run scripts i'm having trouble, cpu pegs, lsass.exe getting 90-95 % cpu time....

as seems related particular scripts, suggest post in our msdn forum efficiently resolve it. people there have better knowledge on developing or coding relevant questions , problems. may change scripts these scripts can run better. may share useful information you, such changed classes.

server manager error: ADAM.events.xml could not be enumerated.
