Windows 2012 R2 RDP connection hangs

hello everyone, loaded windows 2012 r2 standard on home server. went apart form 1 problem.... rdp connection hangs 3-5 seconds sometime after clicked on button or try open folder. problem did not happen when server running windows 2008 r2. client running windows 10 pro 64bits, cpu:/3930k, ram 64g. server cpu 2600k, ram 32gb. network gigabytes ethernet though newgear gs108t. help? thank you

does rdp connection hang every time after mouse click?

do client , server reside in same network?

please try patch server , update network , video drivers.
