Error ID 41: Hyper-V launch failed; Either VMX not present or not enabled in BIOS.
all,
i have installed windows 2008 r2 on new ibm t410, added hyper-v role it. howver, cannot add or create vms. so, checked event id hyper-v , got following errors:
error id 41: hyper-v launch failed; either vmx not present or not enabled in bios.
error id 14098: 1 or more driver required virtual machine management service not installed or disabled. try reinstalling hyper-v role.
i have used secuable site check bios , checked fine.
here bois setting:
intel (r) hyper-threading technology [enable]
intel (r) visualization technology [disabled]
inter (r) vt-d feature [enabled]
i ran intel (r) processor id utility , showed execute disabled bit : yes
not sure else can fix issue.
