Word 2007 startup crash, sends note to MS and recovers blank document, but was closed down before shutdown

reporting details error report includes: information regarding condition of microsoft office word when problem occurred; operating system version , computer hardware in use; digital product id, used identify license; , internet protocol (ip) address of computer.

we not intentionally collect files, name, address, email address or other form of personally identifiable information. however, error report contain customer-specific information such data open files. while information potentially used determine identity, if present, not used.

the data collect used fix problem. if more information available, tell when report problem. error report sent using secure connection a database limited access , not used marketing purposes.
