300 school Laptops needs GP settings for installing printer without admin rights.





im working on student laptop program @ school due roll out few hundred laptops @ start of next year. students login standard user account , not want them have administrative rights. them able take there laptops home , install , use there home printers. have been reading on gp settings allow users add printer drivers without administrative rights , have been testing no matter cant settings work. running @ windows server 2008 r2 domain level, , laptops running windows 7. here gpo settings have applied test laptop:

computer configuration:
-policies/windows settings/security settings/local policies/user rights assignment/ load , unload device drivers. teststudent
-policies/windows settings/security settings/local policies/security options/ devices: prevent users installing printer drivers. disabled 
-policies/administrative templates/printers/ disallow installation of printers using kernel-mode drivers. disabled 
-policies/administrative templates/printers/point , print restrictions. disabled 
-policies/administrative templates/system/device installation/device installation restrictions\allow installation of devices match of these device ids

user configuration:

-policies/administrative templates/control panel/printers/point , print restrictions. disabled 


even of these settings enabled normal user still cannot install printer drivers.

is there im missing?
any suggestions solving problem or gpo settings appreciated.

uac enabled on systems?
if so, there difference if uac off?
