New Install of WSUS 3 SP1 Client Last Status Report is Not Yet Reported

hello, forgive me new this.  have installed wsus 3.0 sp1 , thought had set correctly.  however, not receiving updates on clients , clients still show last status report of not yet reported.  have double checked gpos, server setup lbcdcsrvr:8530; have recreated selfupdate on port 80 2xs, once script deleted once manually followed stopping , starting update services on both server , client after ensuring anonymous authorization selected.  have used wuauclt.exe reset authorization, detect now, , report.  have checked security on registry keys.  able verify existence searching ie http://lbcdcsrvr/selfupdate/wuident.cab , receive download file close out of. 

3 things seem raise concern:  1. when searching ie http://lbcdcsrvr:8530 receive "website declined webpage" http error 403 forbidden, website requires login."  2. event viewer on wsus server shows error 13042, self update not working.  , 3. update log on client shows 0x80244019 

please resolving issue.  have been researching days if not weeks , @ wits end!!!

issue #2 , #3 related same cause.

the event log reports errorid 13042 "selfupdate not working", means there's selfupdate v-dir missing (or anonymous permissions disabled), , 0x80244019 error code http 404 -- confirms client can't find it's looking -- same missing selfupdate v-dir.

two questions come mind:
1. wsus server installed on port 8530 (is there "wsus administration" virtual server defined in iis?)
2. if so, did you verify existence of 'selfupdate' v-dir in "wsus administration" website @ same time repaired in "default web site"?

Cannot access Anywhere Access using domain name?

after installing anywhere access in windows server 2012 essentials r2, cannot use anywhere access using setup domain name in wizard such remote.mydomain.com? if enter public ip address, example, 72.2.34.5 works. before set anywhere access, created a record pointing public address...pinged , worked...so not sure doing wrong?  is wizard supposed create record etc , make remote.mydomain.com work? if enter public ip address while on lan, takes me router webpage.  shouldn't work on lan if accessed via public ip? thank you, tim. the wizard can configure remote.microsoft_names.com  remote.remotewebaccess.com but cannot configure domains purchased outside wizard.  depends on how domain configured if wildcard.yourdomain.com should work  if try ping remote.your_domain.com afar , not give proper  public ip, need add record mariette said. much have record domain.com www.domain.com , if have website somewhere else www.domain.com , need remote.domain.com go box gr

WMI Failure: Unable to update Local Resource Group
