WDS Installation - Image not found

i have been poring through message boards , have tried solutions, stumped.

i trying deploy wds on 2003 sp2 platform.  have installed software (aik, wds) , brought up.  recognizable in ad , pxe clients.  able pxe boot client machine , access wds server.  however, when try deploy image, not list of available images. 

so far:
i have created test user , given user domain rights
the wds server, client server, , user domain admin access exist on same domain
the image name (in wds , on 2003 file system) numbers , letters
i able net use wds server successfully
the machine captured same machine trying image there should no hal conflict.
imagex reports image uniprocessor image.  again, exact same machine took image trying put to.

so know images being passwe client.  however, not showing @ all.  please help

the install image shown on install screen restricted image filtering. image filtering implemented in following 3 areas. please tests can narrow down issue:

 

hal filtering:

on client computer captured image from, click start, point settings, click control panel , double-click system. click hardware tab, , click device manager view listed under computer branch (such acpi multiprocessor pc or acpi uniprocessor pc).

 

on wds server, click start -> program -> microsoft windows aik -> windows pe tools command prompt. in command prompt, type "imagex /info c:\remoteinstall\images\<imagegroup>\<imagename>.wim" (without quotions, , should adjust path remoteinstall path), see in command prompt (the entry looks <hal>mps_mp</hal>).

 

architecture filtering:

check version of windows captured client machine , architecture boot image is.

 

if use boot.wim x86-based windows vista installation media, should use x86-based version of windows xp image (in windows pe 2.1, has little change).

 

permissions:

this seems not related situation.
