External Removable Drives Cause RAID 6 Array to Temporarily Become Inaccessible

okay guys, i've got weird problem.

 

i have win2k8 r2 server 2 six-core opterons, 32gb ram, sata raid 1 (160gb) os, , 1.8tb raid 6 sas array. 

on sas array have 3 virtual servers clients connect to. im using vmware server 2.1. have symantec endpoint security 11 installed on win2k8 server backupexec 12.5.

anyhoo, here's weirdness. whenever connect either external drive (be usb flash or hard drive or iscsi backup drive), raid 6 array drives light they're thinking hard , volume becomes temporarily unavailable. this happens minute , 20 seconds. , everything's fine. 

the only error shows in event log seems corralate when : 

vds basic provider error (code: 490@01010004).

 

any appreciated.

that error code seems related windows 7 x64, iso mounting programs alcohol. have nothing installed on server.

Cannot access Anywhere Access using domain name?

after installing anywhere access in windows server 2012 essentials r2, cannot use anywhere access using setup domain name in wizard such remote.mydomain.com? if enter public ip address, example, 72.2.34.5 works. before set anywhere access, created a record pointing public address...pinged , worked...so not sure doing wrong?  is wizard supposed create record etc , make remote.mydomain.com work? if enter public ip address while on lan, takes me router webpage.  shouldn't work on lan if accessed via public ip? thank you, tim. the wizard can configure remote.microsoft_names.com  remote.remotewebaccess.com but cannot configure domains purchased outside wizard.  depends on how domain configured if wildcard.yourdomain.com should work  if try ping remote.your_domain.com afar , not give proper  public ip, need add record mariette said. much have record domain.com www.domain.com , if have website somewhere else www.domain.com , need remote.domain.com go box gr

WMI Failure: Unable to update Local Resource Group
