BIG DFS Namespace and Replication problems

i have 2 files servers win2012 installed, have dfs activated on both machines.

when created namespaces lets call them \\ad.domain.com\share\ folder called "home" in name space, , moved onto creating replication group.  everything working no issues.  i able go server , navigate to \\ad.domain.com\share\home no problem.  

overnight strange occurred, namespace \\ad.domain.com\share\home no longer exits in part.  when type \\ad.domain.com\share\home shows me contents of dfs root folder has different contents shared folder on disk.

i hope makes sense , please ask lots of questions me understand has happened.

oh forgot mention, on icons in dfs root, namespaces work have black shortcut arrow namespace folders having problems not have this.

just we're on same page dfs naming convention, i'm including graphic, , link came from;

so based on microsoft's naming convention;  are saying, \\ad.domain.com\share\home, share dfs root?  as far example concerned?  and "home" "folder targets"?

in dfs mgt console, if click on namespace root on left, , on right click on namespace servers tab, see namespace servers?  and make sure namespace service installed , started on servers.

about last statement; talking see in dfs mgt console?  if not, how folders in dfs mgt?  does correct?
