How to track failed logon events in Windows Server 2012

hi all,

i want track critical events failed logon, outage storage etc on windows server 2012. also, can alerts when such events occur?

you can failed logon events via script (in link below) note need enable auditing. script creates , subsequently appends html report show user name, computer name plus ip , date/time failed attempt occurred.

can acheive via commercial product well, easy such report desired format less efforts.d

server manager error: ADAM.events.xml could not be enumerated.

i have domain server windows 2000 sp4. my clients using win xp , win 98. when send messages computer management-shared folders-rightclick-all task-send message connected users, message received clients using winxp but not in  win 98 .how send them without winpopup  , net meeting. this forum windows server 2008.   check messenger service running on win98-clients.
