Root Certificate Updates on disconected servers

so have read through thread here: https://social.technet.microsoft.com/forums/en-us/fca185dc-59a3-40fc-ad10-5c8f04c37607/update-root-certificate-and-untrusted-certificate-lists-in-a-disconnected-environment-kb3097966?forum=winserversecurity

i have googled till keyboard falling apart still don't seem able working think should.

from articles have found can part way process not seem able finish it.

i have server runs scheduled task , downloads updated root certs folder.  can see folder updates each day when changes.

i have used group policy , checked registry settings on server disconnected internet point folder on server downloaded certificates not updating local trusted root certificate store.

from disconnected server can browse folder on server certificates in know access available.

what required these disconnected servers update trusted root stores?

hi rob,

i assume have specified file containing updated root certificates via group policy.

in case, please run gpupdate /force, run gpresult.exe on intended systems ensure group policy setting applied.
