AD user security tab - inherit permissions

hi,

i have circa 150 user [1000 users total] not inheriting security permissions. causes issue when delegated desk staff try reset passwords [becase new delegated security permissions not propogated]. can go each users account, check tick box inherit 20 minutes later unchecked. belive issue was caused previous admin elevating rights of these users during nt4 migration putting rights normal users.

how can ensure these users inherit permisssions good?

this implies account in questions in 1 of built-in privileged ad groups (adminsdholder mechanism)

server manager error: ADAM.events.xml could not be enumerated.

i have domain server windows 2000 sp4. my clients using win xp , win 98. when send messages computer management-shared folders-rightclick-all task-send message connected users, message received clients using winxp but not in  win 98 .how send them without winpopup  , net meeting. this forum windows server 2008.   check messenger service running on win98-clients.
