Authorizing a DHCP server

let me preface saying i'm not looking information on how this. i'd know more process in functions..

the reason i'm starting thread because i'm studying exchange 2003 in college right now, , topic of running forestprep brought up. put, i'm wondering why when running forestprep, have run on domain in schema master role present, while when authorizing dhcp server, can done domain in forest. both have run enterprise administrator.

at first believed 2 processes similar, seem not. i'm still confused, know this: authorizing dhcp server have traditional fsmo/operation master roles? or different alltogether? providing logged domain enterprise administrator, why can authorize dhcp server part of forest, while making changes schema need done in 1 specific domain?

forestprep involves schema changes (hence schema master requirement). imperative operation performed on single dc in forest. logical choice "special" dc holder of schema master role. perform changes, need member of schema admins.

authorizing dhcp not involve schema changes. instead, create objects of dhcpclass class in the  cn=netservices,cn=services,cn=configuratation,<forestrootdn> container. create them, need member of enterprise admins. there no issue creating multiple instances of class simultaneously
