Folder Redirection offline files not working on Windows 10 Client

the offline files cache redirected folders not work on windows 10 clients.

environment:

• windows server 2012 r2 domain controller, applying folder redirection gpo
• user folders (e.g. documents, desktop etc) redirected hyper-v clustered file share offline cache option enabled (\\fs.domain.company.com\redirectedfolders\username)
• mixture of windows 7, 8.1 , 10 clients

symptoms:

• folder redirection works on clients, users can access files providing client remains connected network
• offline cache works on clients except windows 10. therefore windows 10 clients lose access redirected folders when disconnected network.
• no sync partnership appears in sync centre in control panel under windows 10

i have searched through microsoft documentation, forums , on google not managed find anything. appreciated, issue preventing rolling out further windows 10 clients.
