Newbie Question rmdir

hi

i have started learning use powershell, , mistake typed in rmdir on own , hit enter.  left me prompt double arrow, no filepath (not drive) , not there on.  had restart powershell before useable again.

i have tried cannot find details of happens when enter rmdir on own - can tell me did?  there way recover own user directory without restarting powershell

rmdir not real command in powershell rather alias remove-item cmdlet.

you can see typing:

get-alias rmdir

when invoked, remove-item cmdlet requires -path or -literalpath mandatory parameter.

so when type rmdir without params, prompted path[0]:

if wish out of prompt, hit ctrl + c return before.
