Server 2012 using 99% CPU

i have upgraded system running server 2008 r2 server 2012 standard gui.

the hyper-v roll installed.

the issue is, system running @ 99% cpu time @ host.  system ran fine under server 2008 2012 slow.  hyper-v management console taking 25% cpu, desktop windows manager taking 22%...

this seems odd system running server 2008 r2 same roles , in fact more..

system specs:

supermicro x7dbn
2 x xeon 5140
lsa 8888elp raid
32gb ddr2 fbdimm ram

any appreciated going hyper-v migration , not going in test!

thanks!

how many cores being used?
