Prevent users from directly connecting to Pooled Desktop VMs

first off, forum tons of support it's been helping our vdi solution.

my first question is, have 6 vms setup in hyper-v redirection , rd web access , running. can grab vm. however, noticed if wanted to, directly mstsc vm client, bypassing redirection. if understand correctly, end product of redirection giving client direct ip/fqdn of vm has been assigned , running rdc client information. how can prevent users exploiting , trying connect same desktop on , on via directly connecting vm? there gpo policy can push clients accept connections connection broker? don't think can on firewall level, client getting address , connecting directly there.

no, cannot start mstsc.exe , connect vm pool. users can connect personal virtual desktops directly using mstsc.exe not pools.

 

however can create rdp file w/ required information pool , users can use rdp file connect pools. cannot directly connecting pooled vms default.

update:

 

if user know vm computer name\ip address\fqdn want prevent user directly connecting vm, it’s impossible.
