Rename Administrator and now getting stream of Security audit failures 672, 680, and 529

time ago, renamed our domain admin account on server 2003 (only on primary domain controller). renamed manually using procedure outlined microsoft. continuous stream of audit failures appearing in our security log user name: administrator ip: 127.0.0.1 , our domain name. error code translates unknown user name.

it seems me 1 of processes on dc trying use obsolete login information due name change. not seem have problems, , renamed admin account works fine. have constant audit failure. events in order , have same time stamp; 672, 672, 680, 529. later, same group appears again (with irregular interval).

by way, stream begins if dc computer in network powered up.

thanks,
mike.
