What does U/P Authentication perfmon counter mean in ADFS.
on active directory federation server, following perfmon counters present related u/p authentication:
- u/p authentication failures/sec
- u/p authentication failures
- u/p authentications/sec
- u/p authentications
what mean u/p authentication in adfs? have searched on internet not able find information it. appreciated.

according error message, seems wrong authentication. through not familiar adfs, in experience of adds authentication, u/p might stand username , password. if case, might need check if username , password valid or not.
in addition, pierre said, since issue relates adfs, suggest post question in adfs forum. reason why recommend posting appropriately qualified pool of respondents, , other partners read forums regularly can either share knowledge or learn interaction us. thank understanding.
