Windows Server 2012 R2 CPU 100% Utilization

hi guys,

we using windows 2012 r2 vm's has latest update installed kb3164294.

windows cpu utilization going higher[up 100%] times. after kind of investigation found windows doing maintenance scheduler task every day @ time , tries software updates, security scans , system diagnostics. when happening cpu utilization going higher.
maintenance task taking  an average of 3-5 mins complete. scheduled once per day , @ time cpu usage increasing. windows says fixed in update given per below article :  [http://deploymentresearch.com/research/post/401/automatic-maintenance-in-windows-server-2012-r2-is-evil]
, have update in our windows instances still taking time us. default *disabled our windows updates* on vm's.
quick solution planned move higher ram of size 8gb before have been using 4gb ram.
, result took 10% of cpu when task ran.

because of single maintenance task dont want increase size of our 100 vm's.
question here  *will disabling problem us?* because thread above has
"disclaimer: i’m still trying figure if disabling task stops windows update task, please on demo machines use presentations etc. not production environments."
