Storage Spaces eating up my memory and it is not being used

hello all;
beta testing new windows 2016 server.
, storage spaces, of not being utilized @ moment, , may never used on machine eating memory. 910.2mb memory used @ times.

is there way disable feature time being, not continue eat memory when not being used @ all?

a reboot, able stop running.
continue monitor issue, , post when appears once more.
however, if there way disable feature, when not needed, handy.

server manager error: ADAM.events.xml could not be enumerated.

i have domain server windows 2000 sp4. my clients using win xp , win 98. when send messages computer management-shared folders-rightclick-all task-send message connected users, message received clients using winxp but not in  win 98 .how send them without winpopup  , net meeting. this forum windows server 2008.   check messenger service running on win98-clients.
