Why do I lose Connections in Windows 7 64 bit Remote Desktop?

hi
every since started using windows 7 64bit several months ago remote desktop sessions various windows 2003 server regularly report connection has been lost , needs re-connect.  the strange part network connection fine.  other software running on network not report network problems , remote desktops using linux mint work fine on same network.
when re-connection made not reconnect existing session.  instead if logged off server , new session started.  if in terminal services manager previous session gone , applications running on server have been closed.
previously using windows 7 32bit , never had problem.  i stay connected day , time ever got disconnection message when internet went down.

hi,

you can change remote desktop connection performance settings in windows 7 x64. please refer following steps:

click advanced option. in choose connection speed optimize performance area, can select low load option. example, modem(56kbps).

then can uncheck  check box in “local devices , resources” check whether devices redirection cause issue.

when connection has been lost in ts 2003, there error event log in event viewer? please post here.
