adobe_pdf.dll

i installing adobe creative suite 3 web premium on windows server 2008 r2 foundations, during install pop window ("the file adobepdf.dll on windows vista cd-rom needed.") can not find adobepdf.dll,and not able find .dll

instructions http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/401/kb401731.html suggests http://support.microsoft.com/kb/930627. notes

system tipthis article applies different version of windows 1 using. content in article may not relevant you. visit windows 7 solution center. tried hotfix anyway not function.

additional notes reference manually extract adobepdf.dll_64 (

  1. navigate folder contains setup.exe file acrobat 8 installation.
  2. locate file "data1.cab" , open (this may require third party compression utility, such winzip).
  3. inside content listings, locate file "adobepdf.dll_64" , copy desktop.
  4. run installer setup.exe , when prompt appears, choose browse , select file copied desktop.
    note: if file cannot selected, change file type drown down in dialog box "files of types", or rename file "adobepdf.dll" removing "_64" end of file extension.)

but alas not find dll.

this file need search in acrobat 8 installation software. can found in data1.cab file extract file , copy desired location let c: drive during installation ask file show c: drive path.

pdf dll files not included in windows 2008 r2 or windows 7 media.

for cs3 installation consult adobe vendor support.

Cannot access Anywhere Access using domain name?

after installing anywhere access in windows server 2012 essentials r2, cannot use anywhere access using setup domain name in wizard such remote.mydomain.com? if enter public ip address, example, 72.2.34.5 works. before set anywhere access, created a record pointing public address...pinged , worked...so not sure doing wrong?  is wizard supposed create record etc , make remote.mydomain.com work? if enter public ip address while on lan, takes me router webpage.  shouldn't work on lan if accessed via public ip? thank you, tim. the wizard can configure remote.microsoft_names.com  remote.remotewebaccess.com but cannot configure domains purchased outside wizard.  depends on how domain configured if wildcard.yourdomain.com should work  if try ping remote.your_domain.com afar , not give proper  public ip, need add record mariette said. much have record domain.com www.domain.com , if have website somewhere else www.domain.com , need remote.domain.com go box gr
