Limits to GP Preference Drive/Printer Mapping

i @ place have 60 remotes sites can have anywhere 3-5 mapped printers each, 5-10 mapped drives.  our ou structure such that, breaks site below.  wondering there practical limit how many printer maps should have in 1 gpo item (likewise drive maps.).  if plan to create one gpo @ workstations ou level contains a gpp printer maps, possibly looking @ hundred or printers in 1 gpo.  facilitate this, use ilt based on netbios name wildcard (as each site's machine name prefixed respectively).   hesitate create gpo , link each individual site , more holistic approach unless there definitive detriment creating long gpp such..

domain.local
  + workstations
      - site1
      - site2
      - site3

ditto. have setup 300+ group policy preference mapping in 1 policy. act of resolving policy quick compared time takes map drive. reason want split policy ease administration of gpo many settings in it... not performance issue , agpm lot in situation.

hope helps
