AD Group Policy Settings Not Showing Up in Local Group Policy

i created new group policy disable autorun on of our machines. setting located under administrative templates. confirmed through group policy results policy being applied client machines expected. however, when go local group policy editor (gpedit.msc) on of client machines, "turn off autoplay" setting showing "not configured". expected behavior? administrative template settings made in ad group policy not displayed in local group policy on configured machines?

that's correct. local gpo distinct entity domain gpos apply machine. therefore, local gpo not show settings coming domain-based gpos. can use group policy results gpmc or gpresult.exe determine ad-based gpos have been delivered system.
