RDP not connecting

dear all,


have windows 2008 r2 terminal services runing & users connect ts server using rdp thin client. once in week, have strange issue ts server.


users when try connect ts server, not able connect. users connected continue work without problems. issue gets resolved automatocally after 10 - 15 minutes.


have tried checking logs bit not find in application \ system logs.


please advise issue.

did receive particular error when user tried login in rd session?

issue facing might occurs due below symptoms. might limited in number of user can connect simultaneously rd session. verify can try below listed method:

1.  to verify remote desktop enabled
2.  to verify remote desktop services "limit number of connections" policy
3.  to verify remote desktop services rdp-tcp properties
4.  to verify remote desktop services logon rights

refer kb 2477176 article (point 1) steps perform verification additional information.

in addition might issue can cause due problem kb2621440. can refer “rdp connections might fail due problem kb2621440 - ms12-020” article.

Cannot access Anywhere Access using domain name?

after installing anywhere access in windows server 2012 essentials r2, cannot use anywhere access using setup domain name in wizard such remote.mydomain.com? if enter public ip address, example, 72.2.34.5 works. before set anywhere access, created a record pointing public address...pinged , worked...so not sure doing wrong?  is wizard supposed create record etc , make remote.mydomain.com work? if enter public ip address while on lan, takes me router webpage.  shouldn't work on lan if accessed via public ip? thank you, tim. the wizard can configure remote.microsoft_names.com  remote.remotewebaccess.com but cannot configure domains purchased outside wizard.  depends on how domain configured if wildcard.yourdomain.com should work  if try ping remote.your_domain.com afar , not give proper  public ip, need add record mariette said. much have record domain.com www.domain.com , if have website somewhere else www.domain.com , need remote.domain.com go box gr

WMI Failure: Unable to update Local Resource Group
