Problems reported with DFSR

i have health report add on running on our installed windows 2012 essential server. receiving following error:

the dfs   replication service stopped replication on volume c:. occurs when dfsr jet database not shut down cleanly
  , auto recovery disabled. resolve issue, files in affected replicated folders, , use the
  resumereplication wmi method resume replication.

  recovery steps
 
  1. files in replicated folders on volume.
  failure may result in data loss due unexpected
  conflict resolution during recovery of replicated folders.
 
  2. resume replication volume, use wmi method
  resumereplication of dfsrvolumeconfig class.
  example, elevated command prompt, type following command:
 
  wmic /namespace:\\root\microsoftdfs path dfsrvolumeconfig volumeguid="43ab7407-312b-11e3-93ee-806e6f6e6963" call resumereplication

we have no other server connected network , not sure why service running, it's understanding service replication of files or folders across servers. don't think need this. there way of turning off? , should supposedly corrupted database file.
