exFAT support?

vista/7/server doesn't matter in on one

vpc/xpmode/hyper-v seem still see exfat fat16/32 file system limitation issues!

vpc make vhd breaks them 4gb chunks (again, 4gb no longer limitation exfat vpc doesn't seem know , wont function if create vhd on ntfs drive transfer on exfat drive, runs, corrupts files), xp mode , hyper-v throw following:

what reason exfat still not supported vpc (i can understand one, bit outdated, still use it) xp mode, newer/nicer , great tool win7 (server08 if wasn't kiboshed install - have usb activation dongle has plugged in while in use , 08r2 cant run program unless in hyper-v , since hyper-v doesn't have same great support xp mode usb doesn't work?!!?!?) , hyper-v, in light of sp1 beta!

you cannot talk me out of using exfat, has saved me time, had power surge on system testing exfat on , exfat needed chkdsk , removal of read-only attribute when recovered system where-as ntfs partitions required recovery took 2 days (all day , night, recovered intact point still remains, time wasted). *have moved 2 plugs on in ups... never thought want/need bench!

hi,

you can attach vhd located on ntfs volume. however, if have vhd file, can place file on fat, exfat, ntfs, or udfs volume storage or transfer.

for more information, can refer to:

vhd faq link of microsoft technet:
