SBS2008, Sharepoint, Authenticate to a domain. How
here configuration.
1. sbs2008 installed
2. intent of using sharepoint
my sbs2008 installed in environment established active directory. understand trust cannot set sbs2008 active directory , existing ad. accomplish following:
1. incoming user connects sharepoint
2. incoming user authenticates using own ad credentials (or better, if using internet explorer, single signon).
even though trust cannot created, thinking ad lds can offer solution.
is possible me create ldap directory using ad lds such incoming credentials can proxied out domain?
i think first problem knowing if possible using sbs2008, , if so, how proceed.
i unable determine if sharepoint, on sbs2008, can configured use authentication ad lds, appears know ad on sbs2008.
