WDS on Server 2008 R2 not deploying 32-bit images?

i've been told couple of different sources mdt not deploy 32-bit images server 2008 r2 (or 64-bit os matter).  can verify this, , comment whether wds having same issues?  i've got server 2008 r2 implementation ready start configuring wds schema, since still deploying xp sp3 , possibly using win7 32-bit, rather not take time set if r2 has issues deploying 32-bit images.

any info and/or direction welcome.  thanks!

server manager error: ADAM.events.xml could not be enumerated.

i have domain server windows 2000 sp4. my clients using win xp , win 98. when send messages computer management-shared folders-rightclick-all task-send message connected users, message received clients using winxp but not in  win 98 .how send them without winpopup  , net meeting. this forum windows server 2008.   check messenger service running on win98-clients.
