Fast copy of deduped file?

is there way of copying file has been dedulicated?

basically have deduped volume where i storing lot of nightly backups. of these backups deduped saving me huge amount of storage (dedup ratio @ 85% currently) great

i want able pick of nightly backups out , copy them area ... weekly backup area, or monthly backup area on same volume

as files have been deduped , physically taking small amount of disk space hoping process done quickly. of nightly backup files around 1tb in size shrink down nothing when deduped

using xcopy or robocopy seems kick off entire copy of 1tb content rather copying references. missing here? there other tools should using?

any pointers appreciated

with windows server 2012 it's not possible file content re-hydration on access (no way deal dedupe database , file index directly).

so may @ other companies providing what's called "global deduplication". example hp has storeonce technology:

h18006.www1.hp.com/storage/pdfs/hpstoreonce.pdf

which sounds it's need.
