Client not detecting new applicable updates (client issue)

solved: missing kb2919442 & kb2919355 (in order).

i have windows server 2012 r2 client has been patched october of 2016 “october, 2016 security monthly quality rollup”. system configured pull updates wsus server. problem having client showing in wsus not missing updates. systems communicating wsus server both “last status report” , “last contact” current. see these update respectively when run “wuauclt /reportnow” , “wuauclt /detectnow”. expect client via report wsus detect in need of updates post october 2016 (e.g. “december, 2016 security monthly quality rollup”).

below few things have tried.

  1. i checked see if kb3205401 (december, 2016 security monthly quality rollup) or kb3205400 (december, 2016 security quality update) installed, not. get-hotfix shows updates last installed in october, 2016.
  2. i manually approved december updates find client not download them install (as it’s not detecting them applicable).
  3. i’ve tried having client connect internet updates, still not detect needing later october.
  4. ive tried stopping wuauserv service, renaming c:\windows\softwaredistribution else, , starting wuauserv service creating new softwaredistribution folder. ran "wuauclt /resetauthorization /detectnow" , waited 30min. checked updates , still nothing (even them approved in wsus).
  5. also tried "dism.exe /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth" followed "sfc /scannow". not fix problem, client still no detect approved , known applicable updates.
  6. i've run mbsa latest wsusscn.cab. scan results show no missing updates. resultant report clicking on "windows security updates\results data" can see below.

wsus server configured synchronize updates windows server 2012 r2 products , critical , security classifications.

i suppose more client issues wsus issue. snippit of client's windows update log after clicking check of updates can found here. i'm not concerned warnings on lines 55-61 see same warnings on other 2012r2 systems working correctly.

any thoughts?

update: figured out, looks missing i missing kb2919442 & kb2919355 (in order).

thanks!
