Running simple SQL Queries in Powershell


hi everybody,

this has been aching brain little bit of time now. im trying use powershell run simple sql query.. that's it! logic being can assign query variable , can export variable file , other stuff it.

ive tried doing via sqlplus running -

sqlplus username/password@databasealias

for don't know, that's how log onto sqlplus , connect specific database. when run this, says connected hangs , seems though running forever..

i have tried importing sqlps module cant find must not have available..

any suggestions or ideas?

sqlplus oracle utility. 

post sqlplus issues in oracle forum.

you cannot use sqlps oracle.  works sqlserver.
