TS Licencing on TS, not on DC
i have environment running ts (server 2003), onto users log on, and dc (server 2000 advanced exchange). ts cals installed on dc.
i want replace dc new box running sbs 2003. have ts cals 2003 standard, not sbs 2003, installed ts licensing server on the ts and installed cals there. on new dc, connected server through ts licensing window after joining ts new domain.
users in remote desktop users group still no-one can log onto ts in new domain. "you must granted allow logon through terminal services right" error message. have right, have checked users' security policy , group security policies.
can ts it's own licensing server if active directory , exhange is on dc?

yes, windows 2003 terminal services server can hold ts licensing role.
please add required users remote desktop users (local group) on terminal server , see if helps.
if still having problems, please report explaining configuration in details.
