Users Seeing Other User's Printers

we run rd farm 5 rd hosts.  users distributed hosts based on load balancing.

when logs of 5 servers, can not see printers they've mapped, printers other users (on same host) have mapped.  it show duplicates.

for instance:

user logs in , maps printer 1

user b logs in , maps printer 2

-at point both user , b can see both printers 1 , 2.

user c logs in , maps printer 1

-all 3 users see 2 copies of printer 1, , printer 2.

is there way hide other users printers, each user sees printers have mapped?

thank you,

nickolas

hi,

1. these auto-created redirected printers (e.g. printername (redirected xxx)) or network printers being mapped via group policy or other method?  if redirected, printers using rd easy print driver or manufacturer driver?  if network, please confirm if have below hotfix installed:

a network printer deleted unexpectedly in windows

https://support.microsoft.com/kb/2967077

2. users see multiple printers when using notepad or wordpad?

3. please verify that regular users are not member of print operators logging on regular user, opening command prompt, , entering following:

whoami /groups>groups.txt

notepad groups.txt

thanks.
