WSE 2012 - Cannot connect client, certificate error

hello,

some weeks ago, got new windows server 2012 essentials computer set home backup server. connected 4 client computers, worked fine. then, few weeks ago, client computer stopped being able connect, , i'm trying fix it. i've uninstalled , reinstalled connector, gives error "cannot connect computer network: server not available. try connecting computer again, , more information, see troubleshoot connecting computers server."

the weird thing is, on other client computers, asks admin account on server. 1 doesn't work allows me use credentials of user (and recommends against using admin account).

i have clientdeploy.log latest installation attempt; below of important-looking parts (i can put entire thing pastebin if needed). i've run robert pearman's "windows server essentials - configuration tester", gives few errors. part of output below well. blog post (http://titlerequired.com/2014/02/14/windows-server-essentialsconfiguration-troubleshooter/) says ca name important, can't figure out should be. (i think right named computername-ca, computername being name of server.) know?

i've tried find on internet, including bunch of iis commands , things that. i've uninstalled , reinstalled entire essentials role. nothing helps. did notice have 4 different ssl certificates. also, accessing "https://192.168.xxx.xxx//connect/default..." through browser generates certificate name error, using "https://computername//connect/default..." instead works fine.

would please let me know whether it’s windows server 2012 r2 standard (or datacenter) windows server essentials experience role installed? confirmation, understanding.

à clientsetup: failed download setup.cab server: system.net.webexception: underlying connection closed: not establish trust relationship ssl/tls secure channel

please type services.msc in run open services panel , check if active directory certificate services ran normal. in addition, please open internet information services (iis) manager, navigate wss certificate web service, temporarily stop website , restart again. please check if can connect client computers windows server essentials server using connector software.

if issue still exists, please refer to mike-in-houston‘s suggestion in following thread , monitor result.

Cannot access Anywhere Access using domain name?

after installing anywhere access in windows server 2012 essentials r2, cannot use anywhere access using setup domain name in wizard such remote.mydomain.com? if enter public ip address, example, 72.2.34.5 works. before set anywhere access, created a record pointing public address...pinged , worked...so not sure doing wrong?  is wizard supposed create record etc , make remote.mydomain.com work? if enter public ip address while on lan, takes me router webpage.  shouldn't work on lan if accessed via public ip? thank you, tim. the wizard can configure remote.microsoft_names.com  remote.remotewebaccess.com but cannot configure domains purchased outside wizard.  depends on how domain configured if wildcard.yourdomain.com should work  if try ping remote.your_domain.com afar , not give proper  public ip, need add record mariette said. much have record domain.com www.domain.com , if have website somewhere else www.domain.com , need remote.domain.com go box gr
