RD Gateway dropping connections

hi,

thanks looking @ issue!

we have following set up:

ts-gateway (x.x.x.8) acting rd gateway manager , session broker farm "ts-farm".

ts01 (x.x.x.3) session host, member of farm "ts-farm".

*we adding more servers farm later once working.

we've notice users being disconnected intermittently regularly. users being disconnected around same time i.e. within 1-2 min period. event viewer showing event id 303 "the user "%1", on client computer "%2", disconnected following network resource: "%4". before user disconnected, client transferred %6 bytes , received %5 bytes. client session duration %7 seconds."

the 303 event implies me ts-gateway server sees graceful disconnection. puzzling why users disconnected.

if keep alive issue expect more intermittent , effecting individual users not users simultaneously.

users not available reconnect immediately, takes minute or 2. rdp session internally ts-gateway server fine , has no drops.

ts01 records session disconnected , gateway shows no connections. longest we've gotten connection duration around 90 mins.

another rdp server using direct port redirection rather gateway doesn't drop suggesting it's not router dropping out unless threshold less connections gateway.

any suggestions?

for interested or have similar issue in future , stumble across thread have solved issue.

as per my suspicions the 303 event infact graceful exit far ts gateway concerned, forced internal client connect using gateway, router redirected gateway connection never went externally. didn't drop when other connections did pointing @ external issue. tried different domain name through different provider (names.co.uk namesco company providing name , dns) , found connection not dropping @ appears somewhere along line names.co.uk's dns server refreshes it's cache or updates, etc. causes connections drop.

hope helps else in future.
