Error while creating new share clusterd shared Volume (CSV) - The resources must be online on the same node for this operation

hi all,

we have 2 node 2012 r2 std failover cluster csv storage. sql 2014 running role. want create 1 folder share on 1 of csv disk (c:\clusterstorage\data) getting below error.

the resources must online on same node operation

below link did not helped in this. can let know if expected behavior in scenario ?

yes, possible create share on csv using scale out file service role.  cannot done normal file share role.  need understand how resources shared in cluster.

csv special case.  not pointing disk when define resources shared csv.  pointing reparse point allows multiple hosts have simultaneous access disk referenced reparse point.  applications have aware of this.  sofs aware of this.

when create regular file share, defining cluster resource group contains ip address, cluster access point, , disk.  file share cluster resource group can exist on single node of cluster @ point in time.  means node owns file share cluster group owns disk , no other node can read/write disk without making request of owning node.

Cannot access Anywhere Access using domain name?

after installing anywhere access in windows server 2012 essentials r2, cannot use anywhere access using setup domain name in wizard such remote.mydomain.com? if enter public ip address, example, 72.2.34.5 works. before set anywhere access, created a record pointing public address...pinged , worked...so not sure doing wrong?  is wizard supposed create record etc , make remote.mydomain.com work? if enter public ip address while on lan, takes me router webpage.  shouldn't work on lan if accessed via public ip? thank you, tim. the wizard can configure remote.microsoft_names.com  remote.remotewebaccess.com but cannot configure domains purchased outside wizard.  depends on how domain configured if wildcard.yourdomain.com should work  if try ping remote.your_domain.com afar , not give proper  public ip, need add record mariette said. much have record domain.com www.domain.com , if have website somewhere else www.domain.com , need remote.domain.com go box gr
