Setup private cloud on iSCSI or CSV

hello! if me couple of questions in making best choice constructing private cloud?

first of all, let me describe our setup:

i have 2 x node ibm system x 3550 m4 servers

and directly attached via fiber them ibm v3700 storage (no fiber switch).

the software have bunch of windows server 2012 standard licenses.

now want create proper private cloud of this. guest cluster of vms, on need put workload sql server, file server, , proprietary services. after making bunch of tests, encountered couple of problems if advice on them nice:

1) far understand, if use server 2012 vm hosting nodes, put vms system drives on csv volume (for seamless live migration) and guest cluster shared storage i'm stuck iscsi, right? due not having fiber switch can't create virtual fibre adapter, , can't use csv ability appeared in server 2012 r2.

so question is, there performance tricks , tips scenario? because in vm's have sort of poor io perfomance - 30/40mbps writing single large file. on hosting machine, example, 150mbps same scenario.

2) solution use free hyper-v server 2012 r2 node hypervisor , use mine server 2012 licenses vms? far understand use csv guest cluster shared storage , perfomance nicer? bad consequences choice?

3) strange little quirk: when setup host operation system, 2012 server or 2012 r2 hyper-v server, have very, long response from bcdedit. it's 30 seconds or more enum bcd store - , clean new installation. i'm in fear it's symptom of deep configuration problem. how can troubleshoot issue? suggestions?

thanks in advance!

"i've no idea if common behaviour or specific qlogic hbas."

have contact qlogic , ask them if support hyper-v virtual fibre channel.  not cards support it.  or, may require driver update.

"2012 host nodes being ha iscsi targets vms guest cluster nodes connect parent hosts means of virtual network adapter. "

not supported environment if using pure microsoft components.

"problem absent device manager ... can't verify multi-paths"

i use powershell execute commands remotely - invoke-command.  works fine.
