Downgrading from Server 2012 Standard R2 to just Server 2012 Standard.

hey guys,

  have looked high in low in support documents couldn't find scenario looking take server 2012 r2 standard edition , downgrade 2012 standard edition.  reason ask server purchased not have official support 2012 r2 of yet , need deploy in next 24 hrs :)

  attempted use server 2012 r2 key non r2 server 2012 no avail.  if point me in right direction if license can downgraded , how go doing that.  appreciated.

the downgrade rights scenario pretty vague, we've seen suggestions/recommendations here before, can use legitimate media , obtain one-time-use product key activation centre people, has done via telephone.

from memory, it's ok use evaluation copy of modern os products , one-time-use product key, convert evaluation licensed setup.

older os products (i think older ws2008r2) wasn't recommended convert evaluation full.

Cannot access Anywhere Access using domain name?

after installing anywhere access in windows server 2012 essentials r2, cannot use anywhere access using setup domain name in wizard such remote.mydomain.com? if enter public ip address, example, 72.2.34.5 works. before set anywhere access, created a record pointing public address...pinged , worked...so not sure doing wrong?  is wizard supposed create record etc , make remote.mydomain.com work? if enter public ip address while on lan, takes me router webpage.  shouldn't work on lan if accessed via public ip? thank you, tim. the wizard can configure remote.microsoft_names.com  remote.remotewebaccess.com but cannot configure domains purchased outside wizard.  depends on how domain configured if wildcard.yourdomain.com should work  if try ping remote.your_domain.com afar , not give proper  public ip, need add record mariette said. much have record domain.com www.domain.com , if have website somewhere else www.domain.com , need remote.domain.com go box gr
